5 Week Class: Short Story Fundamentals

In this course, participants will learn the basics of crafting a short story, including how to balance setting, character, and plot and how to include theme in their work. Participants will examine classic short stories and apply what they learn to their own short fiction. Participants will have the opportunity to have samples of their work critiqued each week.
