BOOKS AND BOOK VISITS
The Bean to Bar Mysteries follow Felicity Koerber as she begins her life as a chocolate maker after moving back to Galveston and picking up the pieces of her life after her husband’s death. Each book brings a new mystery for her to solve, while through the course of the series she makes connections in the community and starts a new romance. There are currently 8 books in the series.
The Chocoverse Trilogy is a telenovela-inspired, foodie-friendly space opera that will supposes chocolate really is the most important thing in the galaxy. It all starts with Bo Benitez reluctantly returning to Earth to be the spokesperson for the corporation that controls the growth and production of chocolate. Only Bo has other plans — which includes sharing unfermented cacao beans with a bunch of aliens. This has repercussions that span the trilogy.
Amber’s nonfiction includes a travel journal and a chocolate tasting journal, a chocolate-themed cookbook and a textbook for writers.
Amber would love to virtually visit your book club, women’s club, library or other community group for a discussion of one of her books. See the sample Discussion Guides for more detailed information on what each book is about. Feel free to download them to use with your group on your own. The page also has sample chocolate-themed recipes to get you in the mood for reads that reviewers often say make them hungry.
