Parisian Chocolat Chaud

I love a good cup of hot chocolate – especially when it is cold outside. This French-style drinking chocolate couldn’t be simpler to make. It feels sweet and decadent without even needing to add marshmallows. Make it extra-special by using your favorite single-origin dark chocolate.

2 c. milk
6 oz. dark chocolate, chopped finely
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
pinch of salt

Heat the milk until steaming. Add remaining ingredients and stir frequently until the chocolate melts.
