5 Week Class: Write It Short

Want to write but think you don’t have time? In this course, participants will explore a sampler of short forms: flash fiction, short stories, poetry, personal essays and nonfiction articles. They will focus on how to be pithy and how to introduce all the needed story elements in a limited space – and get ideas on where/how to sell the finished projects. They will build a small body of short work throughout the course, and will have the opportunity to have pages critiqued each week.
